I thank all those who welcomed me to Japan 
I look forward to initiating the Dumecology Program in this amazing country. I feel proud and blessed that the organization that was responsible for my ethical, morale and educational up bringing (The Brothers of Christian Instruction) has a prestigious presence in Japan.

The Joseph Stilwell Academy's language Exchange programs are  facilitated mainly with the Dumecology instructional design. Instructors of the program are Dumecologist with advance University degrees in Linguistics, TESL/TESOl and Asian American Studies.  

At West Point, General Stilwell showed an aptitude for languages such as French in which he ranked first in his class during his second year.

Between the wars, Stilwell served three tours in China, where he mastered spoken and written Chinese and was the military attaché at the US delegation in Beijing from 1935 to 1939.

Stilwell's mastery of written and spoken Chinese made him the default American choice for the China command.
